ITM AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, Chehari, Maharajganj is the renowned & prestigious Ayurvedic College for its excellence in education field as well as committed to holistic healing. ITM AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL is located in Maharajganj District and 15 KM away from Maharajganj sadar on the way of Pharenda. The college runs the BAMS graduate course approved by NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR INDIAN SYSTEM OF MEDICIENE (NCISM) and affiliated to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Uttar Pradesh.
College have separate departments with associated laboratory, museum and departmental library. All departments have own faculty room equipped with separate Computer and Printer with Wi-Fi internet connectivity.
All the Laboratories relating to their respective subjects namely Physiology, Pathology, Anatomy, Toxicology, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra etc. are well furnished and equipped with all required Equipment & Instruments.
The College has separate well established Pharmacy according to NCISN norms and is being run under the supervision of experts and experienced staff. Quality Ayurvedic medicines are regularly manufactured and supplied to the O.P.D. Students are also imparted knowledge about manufacturing processes of Ayurvedic medicines.
The library subscribes for a good number of medical journals, magazines and periodicals. It is well managed with books on Ayurveda and Modern. The Library has a capacity to accommodate hundred students and there is extra space available for reading room.
College have own Herbal Garden. In herbal garden more than 250 different species plant available for the purpose of identification of plant. Some plant in Herbal garden provides herbs on a large scale for manufacturing Ayurvedic Medicine.
Well-furnished hostel for boys and girls are situated in the campus of college with mess facilities.
This is a significant regular feature of the college and students are actively encouraged to take part in various sports and game. Outdoor and Indoor games are organized in the campus and students are encouraged to take part in the internal tournaments and their efforts are recognized and awarded suitably.
A well-equipped gymnasium available within campus for the performance of physical and yogic exercises.
